9 STEPS

YPEP 9 Steps to a positive mental Well-Being

03
Talk to someone

Opening up about your mental well being will allow you to express how you truly feel and it gives others a chance to help you by guiding you through the difficult times

04
Appeal to your senses

Opening up about your mental illness will allow you to express how you truly feel and it gives others a chance to help you by guiding you through the difficult times

01
Make a social connection

Social connection can lower anxiety and depression, help us regulate our emotions, lead to higher self-esteem and empathy, and actually improve our immune systems.

05
Add a little bit of body text

Normalizing the conversation about mental health empowers you to talk and get the help they need.

08
Don't skimp on sleep

To avoid triggering or exacerbating depression, anxiety or other mental health conditions. Sleep deprivation may also cause a cycle of chronic negative mood and sleep difficulties

02
Stay Active

Staying active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities

06
Make Leisure

This reduces levels of stress, anxiety, and depression; improves mood; and higher levels of positive emotion.

07
Eat a brain healthy diet

A healthy, well-balanced diet can help us think clearly and feel more alert. It can also improve concentration and attention span.

09
Accept yourself

A lack of self-acceptance limits your capacity for happiness. It also affects your psychological and emotional well-being. It keeps you focused on the negative aspects of yourself, and these negative thoughts create negative emotions.
